Biography
Mary (Bradish) Gibbs immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).
Mary Bradish was christened on 29 November 1622 in St. Mary's Church, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England to parents Robert Bradish and Mary Howe. She immigrated with her family to America in 1635 and first settled in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She married Matthew Gibbs Sr. about 1651 in Charlestown, Massachusetts. Children: Hannah, Matthew Nathaniel Jr., Elizabeth, Thomas, John, Samuel, Joseph, John, Jonathan, Josiah, Jacob. She died after 1673 in Sudbury, Massachusetts when her husband's estate was probated.
