Biography
Elizabeth Bradley was born in Alderwasley, Derbyshire in 1778, and christened in Duffield, Derbyshire on 2 September 1781[1]. She was the daughter of William and Anne Bradley.
Elizabeth married Joseph Blackham sometime before November 1825, and had at least one daughter. Joseph died in 1826.
Elizabeth married Benjamin Gration (or Gratian) in Duffield on 30 August 1835[2].
At the time of the 1841 England and Wales Census, Benjn and Elizabeth Gration were listed as living in Crich, Derbyshire along with Emma Blackam[3].
At the time of the 1851 England and Wales Census, Elizabeth Gration and her son Thomas Blackam were listed as living in Crich, along with a servant and a lodger[4]. At the time of the census, Elizabeth was listed as a widow, and her occupation was listed as "Grocer".
Married John Gratton 19 Jul 1796 in North Wingfield, North Wingfield, Derbyshire, England. He was a widower[5]
Appears in the 1851 census as the 69 year old mother of Thomas Blackham, occupation grocer, widow, living at Crich, Derbyshire, England[6]
