Ray was born in 1914. He was the son of Albert Bradley and Violet Best.[1]
Advice that their two elder son’s, Sergeants Leo and Ray Bradley, are now in the same prisoner-of-war camp in Germany, has been received by Mr and Mrs A. J. Bradley, of Broadway Avenue, Palmerston North. The brothers were captured during the Greek and Crete campaigns. According to a letter from Sergeant Leo Bradley, received recently, he had made arrangements to have his brother in the same hut as himself. The camp is situated south of Munich. In recent letters from the brothers they said they were both fit and well and looking forward to being together. The friends of both men will be pleased to learn that they are now in the same camp.[2] He passed away in 1978. [3]
