Hello

It’s time for a Project check-in!

Scotland Project Leaders check in with you at least once a year to see how you are doing. With the changes happening around the world, we understand that life is hectic right now.

What are you planning to work on for the Scotland Project this year? Are you happy with the team(s) you part of, or would you like to make some changes?

This time round, we’re also looking for feedback on the use of Google Group and Discord. Do you use one or both of these? If you don’t use either of them, what is the best way to ensure you receive Project communications? If you would like to join us on Google Group or Discord, let us know in your response.

Hello Esther,

My name is Sarah and I’m the Project Coordinator for the Scotland Project. As you may have heard, we have merged the Scottish Clans project into the Scotland Project. I am contacting you today to find out if you are interested in continuing with us under this new format. If you would like to go forward on the Scottish Clans Team, please reply and let me know which clans you have been working on or would like to work on. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,

Sarah Mason, Scotland PC

Hi Sarah,

I am still interested in the Scotland Project. The clans/names I am following are Murray, Scott, Rutherford, and Douglas. Thank you for all your hard work. Best Wishes, Esther Baran

I don't think I am related to Hervy White or Vivian Beavens. The majority of the Whites I descend from settled in Connecticut in the 1600-1700's. They mostly kept to the East Coast until my father came to Texas back in the 60's. I just came across the profiles of Hervy and Vivian when I was adding sources to unsourced profiles. I tend to work off a list with the surname White, however if I find records with their spouses or children I will source them aswell.

The numbers in the profile ID are just an identifier. When the profiles are merged you will remain the profile manager. Any links to the higher number will automatically be forwarded to the lower number/merged profile.

Hi Esther,

No, I am not related to Richard Bradley. He was added to WikiTree as a neuter, not male or female, so I just added a gender for him. Vic

Thank you for your message about Joan Coleson-1. It seems that the parents are in error again. I will have to get them corrected.
