Obituary (Moberly (MO) Monitor-Index, May 21, 1927)- Mrs. Katherine Lichten(t)haler, 88 years old and for many years a resident of this county who made her home near Cairo, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Kate Rais, in Montana, Wednesday. The remains arrived here today and funeral services will be held tomorrow, it was announced at the Mahan funeral parlors. Mrs. Lichten(t)haler is survived by three other daughters who are, Mrs. J. D. Hull, Portland, Oregon; Mrs. C. F. Stephens, Kansas City, but formerly of Cairo, and Mrs. Mary Murray, Berts Tree, Mo. Two sons, I. B. Lichten(t)haler of Malta Bend, Mo., and Geo. Lichten(t)haler of Portland, Ore., as well as sixteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, survive. Mrs. Lichten(t)haler was a member of the Hickory Grove Baptist church at Ash. Funeral services will be conducted there tomorrow at two-thirty o'clock by the Rev. E. V. Lamb of this city and interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery.
