Avis Garland Bradshaw was born on 30 April 1910 in Polk County, Missouri, United States, son of John Bradshaw and Hepsie Martha Darby (1880–1963).[1]
He was married on 2 May 1928 in Polk County, Missouri to Delpha M Huckaby.[2] They were living in Santa Paula, California in 1930.[3] Their sons were Garland and Robert[4] and later they had two girls. They were owners and operators of a general country store in Polk County.[5]
He registered for the draft in 1940. At that time he was described as 5'8" tall. He weighed 135 pounds. He had grey eyes, brown hair and a fair complexion.[6]
He died the 28th of January 1999 in Urbana, Missouri.[7][8] He is buried at Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell, Polk County, Missouri.[9]
