Hannah (Bradstreet) Holt immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).
Hannah Bradstreet was born about 1625 in Ipswich, Suffolk County, England. She was the daughter of Humphrey Bradstreet and Bridget (Unknown) Bradstreet. Some say that her name was Harris, but this is not accepted by Anderson in The Great Migration.[1] [5]
Hannah was married twice. First, she was married to Daniel Rolfe about 1645 in Ipswich, Essex County ,Massachusetts, Daniel was the son of Robert Rolfe and Joan Isles Rolfe. After Daniel's death, she was married again to Nicholas Holt in Ipswich, Essex County, (recorded in Andover) on June 24, 1654. Nicholas was the son of Thomas Holt and Annis Bowden Holt. [1][2][3][4][5]
Hannah Bradstreet died in Andover on June 24, 1665. Her place of burial is unknown. [1][2][6]
