Biography

October 27, 1665 -- Moses Bradstreet was born at Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony. Moses was a son of Captain Moses and Elizabeth (Harris) Bradstreet.

October 17, 1665 -- Moses Bradstreet was born at Ipswich

July 19, 1686 -- Moses Bradstreet and Hannah Pickard married at Hannah was a daughter of John Pickard

He succeeded to one-half the ancestral homestead and all the buildings thereon, and was a farmer.

July 19, 1686 -- Moses Bradstreet and Hannah Pickard married at Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony. Hannah was a daughter of John (~1622 - 1683) and Jane Crosby (1627 - 1716) of Rowley. Hannah was born at Rowley.

Moses and Hannah (Pickard) Bradstreet had eight children: four daughters (Elizabeth, Hannah, Bridget, and Jane) and four sons (Moses, John, Nathaniel 1 (died young), and Nathaniel 2).

January 3, 1737 -- Hannah Pickard Bradstreet died age sixty-seven years.

October 20, 1737 -- two months before Moses Bradstreet died, widower Moses Bradstreet and widow Dorothy (Sewall) Northend married at Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Province. Dorothy was the widow of Ezekiel Northend, of Rowley. She died June 17, 1752.

December 19, 1737 -- date of Moses Bradstreet's will. Moses's will provided, among other things, that his son Nathaniel would have the homestead.

December 20, 1737 -- Moses Bradstreet died at Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Province.

Find-a-Grave Note, that gives an age of 72 ("in his 73rd year") which would put his birth year at 1665.

January 9, 1738 -- date Moses Bradstreet's will was proved. “Will of Moses Bradstreet, dated 16th of August 1690, mentions his wife’s children by her former husband; son, John Bradstreet, to him one half of the farm ‘yt was my Father Broadstreets,’ sons, Humphrey, Nathaniel, Moses and Jonathan. Daughters, Bridget and Hannah. Appoints John and Moses exrs. Witnesses, Edward Payson, Nicholas Wallis and Nehemiah Jewett, probate Sept. 30, 1690. Inventory of above estate, taken 26th of Sept., 1690, by Samuel Platts and Nehemiah Jewett, amounting to £1257 2s., debts against the estate £31 12 s. 5d. Returned Sept. 30, 1690.”.

It should be noted that in Rowley Mass Vital Records - Marriages, his surname is spelled Brodstrete. The lines between Rowley and Ipswich are frequently blurry. I find no birth entry for him in Rowley, I do find a birth for him in Ipswich.
