Biography

Dir(c)k Antonisen Bradt, also spelt Brat / Bratt, son of Antonius Barentsen Bradt and Willempje Teunisz De Metselaer, was baptised on 31 March 1695 at the First Dutch Reformed Church, Albany, Albany, New York.

Dirk was a blacksmith by trade. Dirk Bradt wed Cornelia Walderom (Waldrom) on 6 September 1719 at the First Dutch Reformed Church, Albany, Albany, New York.

Dirk and Cornelia had at least eleven children:
