Biography
Amelia Bragg was born in Bradford Abbas, Dorset and baptised there (as Melia) on 3 Aug 1834, the daughter of William and Sarah Bragg. [1]
She married John Chainey in Bradford Abbas on 22 Feb 1859. [2]
In 1871 the family are living in Upper Street, Bradford Abbas. John Chainey is age 37 and an ag lab, his wife Amelia is age 36, and they have 5 children. Samuel age 11, Sarah A age 9, Alfred age 4. Mark age 2 and one year old Mary J, all shown as born in Bradford Abbas. [3]
