He had two siblings, namely: Myra Annie, and Ernest Richard. He died on 05 Jan 1960^[2] in Hornsby, New South Wales, Australia. When he was 36, he married Ivy Gwendoline Kroehnert, daughter of Frederick Oscar Kroehnert and Emily Knight, on 25 Apr 1936^[3] in Canterbury, New South Wales, Australia.
