Thomas Brain ... Thomas was born about 1773. He passed away about 1846.
He was convicted in 1800 in Gloucestershire and was sentenced to be Transported for Life. He was transported on the Coromandel and arrived at Sydney in 1802.
He is listed in the 1811 Convict Muster as Thomas Bryan
He was unconditionally pardoned in 1816
He is listed in the 1822 Convict Muster records as Thomas Bryan
He married Ann Daley in 1824 - however their daughter Margaret Daley was born in 1819
His wife Ann died in 1830
He may have been living with his daughter Margaret Hicks nee Daley - as his death is listed as registered for Dapto he may have been living with them in the Northern Illawarra
He is not the Thomas Brain who was transported in 1819 and was not on Norfolk Island[1]
