Yes you are right but it needs to be Brand-967 into Brands-53. This way 53 will merge into 967 with 967 being the id. Then there are holes in the numbering system.

Brands-53 and Brand-967 appear to represent the same person because: Same parents, same birth. LNAB should be 'Brand' per baptismal record.
