Research Notes

Note: Written by Paul Allen: Another Curties (Curtis) Brann born in Wittersham. Regrettably his actual date of death is unknown but he was buried on the 13 March 1860 in Wittersham Church. Mary Ann Eldridge whom Curties married on the 13 Oct 1835 remained a widow for over 30 years. Although not a particularly long life Curties certainly packed a lot into it. He and Mary produced ten children in twenty years of married life. Mary Ann was younger than her husband by two, she was born in 1816 dying in 1893.

Curties lived at Moons Green until he died in 1860.
