Susannah is the daughter of Valentine Braswell and Elizabeth Davenport.
Susan Braswell was born on February 13, 1814, in Greenville, South Carolina. She married Samuel Oliver in 1841 in Gwinnett, Georgia. They had three children during their marriage. She died on September 22, 1865, in Gwinnett, Georgia, at the age of 51. She is buried in the Braswell Family Cemetery in Loganville, Gwinnett County, Ga
