This Amos Breed was born 23 Dec 1744 @ Stonington, Connecticut, the ninth child of Mary (Prentice) Breed (1706-1799) & John Breed Jr. (1700-1781) ^[1],^[2],^[3].

He married 25 Jan 1768 Lucy Randall; they had 6 children:

1. Amos Breed (1769-1850); married Eliphael Weaver
2. Jesse Breed (1771-1831); married 1) Hannah Randall; 2) Hannah Randall [cousins of each other]
3. Jedediah Breed (1773-1851); married Nancy Belden
4. Lucy (Breed) Peabody (1776-1842); married Samuel Noyes Peabody
