Lynn, Mass., Aug. 24, 1685; married (at Second Church, Boston, by Cotton Mather) on March 31, 1708-9, Sarah Davis, d. March 5, 1739-40, ae. 54 years, 10 mos. (gr-stone Copp's Hill, Boston). She was a descendant of George(1) Davis, a blacksmoth and ship-owner of Boston, and his wife Barbara (who married (2) John Brimblecom and (3) Thomas(1) Chadwell of Lynn). He married (2) Sept. 22, 1741, Deliverance(4) Courser, b. Oct. 14, 1704 (John(2-3), William(1) who died before date of husband's will, Nov. 22, 1760, when he bequeaths all wearing apparel "of my late wife, Deliverance to daughter Anna." In this will, allowed Oct. 2, 1761, he leaves the balance of his estate to his four children, Nathaniel, William, Elizabeth and Anne, equally. On Aug. 2, 1765 at the time of the division of his estate the heirs are listed as follows: to daughter Anna Darracott, son Nathaniel, deceased, son William, deceased, and daughter Elizabeth Richardson. He was a mariner. He is also described in documents as a baker. [JRF]
Nathaniel was the eldest of Allen Bread and his wife, Elizabeth Ballard.[1][2]
