Biography
Polly Breed was born 7 Apr 1788 in Stonington, Connecticut [1]. She was the fourth child of Sarah (Chapman) & Jabish Breed [2].
Polly married 28 Jun 1818 at Stonington, Connecticut, Elias Chapman (1790 - 1869, possibly son of Mercy (Stewart) & Nahum Chapman) [3]. Two children proceeded from this union:
- William Burrows Chapman (1818 - 1892); married 1) Esther Stafford Main; 2) Bridget C. Gallup
- Noyes Lee Chapman (1821 -)
Polly (Breed) Chapman died 15 Jun 1822 @ Stonington, Connecticut [4]. Her grave is in Chapman Hill Cemetery, North Stonington, New London County, Connecticut, USA [5].

Elias Chapman, the husband of Polly Breed, married second, about 1833, Eunice Miner (3 Mar 1813 - 17 Jul 1834), daughter of Nancy (Brown) and John Miner (1786-1851). He also married (third) on 21 Jun 1835, Lydia (Minor; 1797-).
