Biography
- Mildred A Breeden was born on May 24, 1842 in Clark Co., Indiana.[1] She was the daughter of Calvin Breeden ang Fatima Vaughn/ Fatima UNKNOWN.
- Mildred A Breeden married James Amos McCrosky in Jeffersonville, Clark Co., Indiana, on March 24, 1859,[2] when she was 16 years old. They had two sons and five daughters. They lived in Oregon, clark Co., Indiana in 1860, where they had a farm. Their daughter was just 5 mo. old on the 1860 Census.[3]
They lived in Oregon, Clark Co., Indiana then later Jackson, lIllinois.
- Her husband James passed away on March 14, 1897, in Jackson, Illinois, at the age of 60. They had been married 37 years.
- She died on May 24 1920 in Murphysboro, jackson Co., Illinois, at the ate of 77, and was buried in the Tower Grove Cemetery there.[1]
