Biography

Rachael was born in 1902. She was the daughter of William L Breedlove and Ella A Adams^[1]

Rachael married Curtis Eugene Chandler on 08 Dec 1920 in Walton, Georgia, USA.^[2]These are their known children:

Rachel passed away about 2001. She is buried at the Chandler Family Cemetery, Five Points, Old Carnesville Rd., Banks County, Georgia east of Commerce, GA ^[3][4]

Notes

Rachel grew up in Monroe, Georgia and moved with her husband and young children to Banks County, Georgia in order to care for her husband’s elderly parents around 1931. She lived there until after her husband’s death in the 1988 and it became difficult to live alone in a big old house. She eventually moved to Doraville, Georgia to live with her daughter. She passed away just short of her 100th birthday.

Rachel was an avid quilter, and was well known for her work. She enjoyed gardening as well. She was a long-standing member of the Primitive Baptist Church, first in Monroe, then Black’s Creek, and later in Atlanta.
