She married William Wyatt Kendrick on April 26, 1882 in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana. They had ten children together.[3][4][5]
Mary Jane died shortly after they moved to La Salle Parish at 46 years old. She died on August 9, 1910, and is buried in Nolley Memorial United Methodist Cemetery in Jena, La Salle Parish, Louisiana.[6][7]
