Note
Margaret was most likely the daughter of Thomas as she was born in Wigan, where he was from, before his marriage, to Mary. But she may not have been Mary's daughter as she was born several years before Mary's marriage and there is an 8 year age gap before her 1st daughter Alice born in Atherton.
