Mary Bernice Stone went to her heavenly family Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015.

Mary was born May 30, 1941, in Renick, W.Va.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George (Bud) Stone; parents Homer and Maggie Brewer, and older sister Stella Ann Brewer.

Bernice, or Bernie, as some people knew her, was always someone you could have a conversation with and count on if you ever needed anything - friend or stranger.

She was kind to everyone, she loved gardening, bingo, playing cards, listening to old country western music, such as the old time fiddlers, and family.

She is survived by two children, Loretta Tate and husband Steve of Lewiston, and Bill Bowden and wife Monica from Hammett, Idaho; four grandchildren, Matthew Broemeling of Yuma, Ariz., Jena Ramsey of Lewiston, Trevor Ramsey of Lewiston and Maggie Dubry of Coeur d'Alene.

We would like everyone to remember her kindness and "attitude" at times. We would like to thank all 12 remaining brothers and sisters, Juanita, Melvin, Hazel, Sam, Todd, Everette, Margaret, George, Ruby, Roxie and Taylor, and especially her sister, Virginia Kriegel, for all their love and support.

A special thank you to Prestige Care and Staff and Joan Richardson for making our mother's final days peaceful.

Cremation has taken place by Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
