Biography

Solomon Lee, son of Israel and Dorothy (Tracy) Lee, born March 29, 1747, married Anne Brewster, born in Duxbury, Mass., on Dec. 16, 1755. Anne was the daughter of Nathan and Rachel (Partridge) Brewster. Soon after Anne's birth her mother died and her grandfather John Partridge took her and her sister Rachel Partridge Brewster to live with him in Lebanon, Conn. Anne Lee's line is traced to Elder William Brewster of the Mayflower in 1620. She was the daughter of Nathan Brewster, granddaughter of Joshua Brewster and his wife Deborah Chandler, great granddaughter of William Brewster and his wife Lydia, great great granddaughter of Love Brewster his wife Sarah Collins, and great great great granddaughter of Elder William Brewster.

Anne Brewster married at Lebanon, Conn., previous to April 17, 1775, Solomon Lee, son of Israel and Dorothy (Tracy) Lee of Preston, Connecticut.

Anne passed away in 1824 at 69 years of age.
