James Bridges appears to be the 5th son of William Bridges (b. abt. 1726) of Prince William County, Virginia. James may have been born about 1743. It is not known with certainty if his wife was Rebecca Hamrick.[1]

Aaron was born about 1748. He passed away about 1818.

Research Notes

The inaccurate (or lack of) specification between Aaron Bridges Sr. and Aaron Bridges Jr. on multiple documents and document transcriptions has me very confused. I have family records stating that Aaron Bridges was the father of Aaron Bridges, both born in North Carolina with approximate years listed. I thought I had found plenty of evidence to confirm this, but recently found some documents that contradict the others. Needless to say this profile is being researched (I am a direct descendent of this Bridges).
