Biography

William Erskine Bridges was born on January 7, 1814 in Belfast, Waldo County, Maine, United States, the son of John Bridges Jr. and Priscilla Erskine.^[1]

William married Terressa Morse on February 12, 1835 in Franklin County, Ohio.^[2]

2. Worthy Franklin Bridges was born about 1841 in Ohio.

William and his family were members of the LDS church from 1843 until 1848.

William married Margaret Robison on February 27, 1848.^[1]

1. Margaret Bridges was born about 1853 in Utah.

In 1848 or 1851, William immigrated to the Utah Territory.^[3][1] The census records indicate that he settled in Fillmore, Millard County, Utah.

William married Martha Mills Adams on February 24, 1857.^[1]

William married Eliza Hill on May 28, 1864.^[1]

William died at an age of seventy-three on September 7, 1887 in Fillmore, Millard County, Utah. He is buried in the Fillmore Cemetery.^[1][4][5]
