6 Sept 1843. Suit Filed by Pulliam, Page, etc. against the Thomas Bridges Heirs.
Thomas Bridges died in the year 1843 preceding this suit (exact date not given in this transcription. He had a mortgage on the property with the plaintiffs and they were seeking sale of the property to pay off Thomas Bridges’ debts.
The mortgage included “130 acres, and also his then present crop of corn, oats and tobacco, 3 head horses, 4 head cattle, 7 head sheep, 20 head hogs, and his household and kitchen furniture.” It states “there is no personal property worth administering on.”
