Biography
David was born in Ohio and moved with his siblings to Indiana before 1860. On the 1860 census, David and his siblings are living in the household of William Hamilton, possibly a relative of their mother.
David may have married Cordelia Davis; there's a marriage record for that couple in Boone County, Indiana, officiated by the same person (Oliver Craven) who officiated at the marriage of David's sister Sarah and Clayborn Brown.[1]
