Elizabeth was born to William Briggs and Sarah Macomber on March 14, 1671
Elizabeth was born about 1671. She passed away about 1735.
Elizabeth, daughter of William Briggs, was born on 14 March 1671 in Taunton, Plymouth.[1]
She married Elkanah Bobet on June 25, 1689[2][3] They had ten children. Elizabeth died on August 15, 1729, in Berkeley, Bristol, Massachusetts, at the age of 58.
The above source has been used to prove that Elizabeth Briggs that married Elkanah Bobet was the daughter of Jonathan and Experience Briggs. A review of the document indicates that while the 8 sons were all named in the settlement of the will, the 5 daughters are not named. The names provided for the 5 daughters in this article show no basis in records.

It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Elizabeth by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Elizabeth:
Briggs-1063 and Briggs-679 appear to represent the same person because: Hi -- I'd like to suggest a merge of these two Elizabeth Briggs - although I'm not sure there is enough information to actually do the merge.
She either needs to be detached from William Briggs and Sarah Macomber as her parents, or detached from Elkanah Bobet and his children. "Often confused with Elizabeth3(Jonathan2, Clement1) who mar. Elkanah2 Bobet" per Edna Anne Hannibal, Claude W. Barlow, "Richard, William and Hugh, son of John Briggs of Taunton, Massachusetts," in NEHGR, 127(Apr 1971):82
