THOMAS BRIGGS, (Sarah Pain, Ralph), was born in Berkley on 20 June 1717, and died there on 10 November 1779. He married THANKFUL AXTELL, daughter of Daniel and Thankful ( ) Axtell, who died in Berkley on 3 November 1794, aged 68 years. [CB I 50-51.[2]]

Briggs-2130 and Briggs-639 appear to represent the same person because: While the birth year is not congruent, the lack of sources makes it less worrisome. Overall these are consistently the same person. In particular: Children Abiel and Robey/Phebe were said to be siblings. ref. https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/KLBL-JSF
