Eliza Briggs was born 1822, in Paris, Oxford county, Maine, daughter of John R Briggs and Lucy R Swain.
On November 27, 1841, in Woodstock, Oxford county, Maine, Eliza married John Lucas. [1] Children of Eliza and John are:
- John Wesley Lucas 1843-1869
- Emma Jane Lucas 1846-1894
Eliza died circa 1849, in Milan, Coos, New Hampshire. Her husband married secondly, Elizabeth "Betsey" Hagar.
