Biggs-581 and Biggs-302 appear to represent the same person because: Matching spouses. I don't have any sources to support the details in Biggs-581, so I would not get hung up on the differences - I trust the info in Biggs-302 more than in the profile that I created.

Thank you Cindy!!

I have been climbing other branches recently hoping someone would volunteer to help with this family, I know where the surnames started and ended but don't know when they switched for one thing, At minimum we need to be fixing Annie and her spouse William and his father Henry. I'll find my notes and get back on this branch now.

Beigs-1 and Biggs-302 appear to represent the same person because: These profiles represent the same person; guest member interfered in merge process. Review & merge as appropriate. Please notate reasons in public comments if merge is rejected or delayed. Much work was done before this delay to make this happen as noted in public comments.
Beigs-1 and Biggs-302 are not ready to be merged because: I'm pretty sure it's the same person

Beigs-1 and Biggs-302 appear to represent the same person because: they are clearly the same person, as are the husbands.. The surnames used by later generations are Biggs and Jayne. The unmerged match has been in place since June of 2016.

"The Jayne Family And Related Families Moving from Setauket to Orange County" By Oliver Popenoe (http://www.gean-ealogy.com/research/NYJayneFamily.pdf) shows William as having two wives named Anna - Biggs, daughter of Thomas and Jennings daughter of John and Ann. It muddies the water by stating the 1675 marriage was to Anna Jennings Biggs, a young widow in New Haven, but later stating it was to Ann Biggs and probably in Setauket. He lists another marriage to Ann Jennings before 25 Aug 1683, ie shortly after the first Ann died in 1682. He lists four children from the first marriage, three from the second and one from a third to Mehitable Jenkins.

Can anybody help clear this up?

I think Anna was the daughter of Thomas Biggs-1306, which would mean she was likely born in Setauket NY where they lived and she was buried. See FAG memorial 82901456.
