Briggs-5146 and Briggs-985 appear to represent the same person because: same information only Briggs-5146 has all of her children listed while Briggs-985 has only one.
Kelly Moores, a Fry researcher, said Rowan, NC Court records state, Henry Fry Jr & Mary "Polly" Smith's 5 children were listed in Guardianship papers in Rowan County, NC, in 1820 after Mary's father, Leonard Smith, died leaving them an inheritance. The five children listed are Nancy, Leonard, Jacob, David and Mary. Also, this is evidence Mary Polly Smith was deceased by this time.
With Mary's birth in 1812 and Rebecca's in March 1815 this means Elendes "Allie" Briggs married Henry Fry, Jr. sometime between 1812 and 1814.
