Catherine was born to Michael Bright (September 10, 1762- March 1, 1847) & Barbara Ann (Winters) Bright (1763 - 28 August 1823). On October 19, 1784 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania. Died July 31, 1867 in Sarpy County, Nebraska.
She married John Lefler on August 2, 1811 in Washington Co., Pennsylvania. They had 11 children.
