Biography
John P Britt was born on July 21, 1804, in Albemarle, Sussex, Virginia, United States, the son of William Britt and Jemima Haiden. He married Sarah Wilson on December 1, 1833, in Springfield, Illinois. They had four children. He died 7 Jul 1852, in Springfield, Sangamon, Illinois, United States, at the age of 47.
