Source: S307 Title: BOHANNON, Brian & Jennifer Publication: Name: (Kannapolis, NC); Repository: #R78 NOTESource Medium: Other From: JIM E Bohannon - 31 May 03 - a desscendant of Thaddeus Ivey, son of Stinceon Ivey. ....from a Chuck Ivey containing your family line and wanted to add some... Thaddeus Ivey was born June 27, 1855 and died April 5, 1933. Martha J. Ivey was born in 1850.. My husband and I live in Kannapolis, NC, where I am Assistant Director of Pitts Baptist Child Development Center in Concord, and he is Minister of Education at Royal Oaks Baptist Church in Kannapolis. We live on the church property in the parsonage. It is truly a long story how we got here. Brian's family moved from High Point, NC to Monroe, NC, and then so did his Ivey grandparents from Cary, NC. I moved to Concord, NC from Upstate New York in 1992. We met at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where we both were getting Master's Degrees. SEBTS is located in the town of Wake Forest, NC, Wake Co, on the old Wake Forest University Campus. We married in Concord, and upon graduating, moved there to await Brian's being called to a church. He was called to Royal Oaks just 4 miles up the road from where we lived, to Kannapolis. Hope that helps, maybe too much info.
