Martha Ellen "Dollie" Britt was born on February 20, 1871, in Britts, North Carolina, the child of Maliciah and Polly. She married David F. Parker and they had two children together. She then married Everett Britt and they had three children together. She died on October 31, 1934, in Lumberton, North Carolina, at the age of 63, and was buried in Orrum, North Carolina.
