He was single as baptismal sponsor 3.19.1769 for Mattew & Maria Magdalena's Anna Barbara Brobst at Allemangle.
As eldest son, Henry was admin. of father's estate Dec 1771 and uncle Valentine's 1775. He was only child from father's first marriage. When his father died, Henry executed a writing declaring that he would accept a single equal share with the other children of the deceased, although the oldest son usually got a double share.
On 5.7.1771 Henry got Henry SHADE (his grandfather’s) land in Macungie Tp., Deed Bk F1 p. 240. This was before Henry’s father died and may have influenced his not seeking the oldest son’s larger portion from his father’s estate.

His son Henrich Jr. b. 1770 to Henry's first wife Margaretha. He adopted his 2nd wife Catharine’s dau. Catharine SIEGFRIED (dau of Johannes SIEGFRIED), and they also had at least two children, Maria and Jacob after 1789 or so.
