In the 1870 census, Rosa BROBST, 10 yr old dau of Benjamin BROBST and Carolina, is found in the town of Greenwich, Berks County, living in the household of Noah SEIP and his wife Louisa BROBST, who was Benjamin’s aunt (great aunt of Rosa).
Noah SEIP and Louisa were sponsors at the baptism of Sarah, Rosa's younger sister, on August 16, 1863. Rosa’s parents were still up in Lynn Co.
Perhaps this was not a permanent living situation -- censuses were taken in the summer, and Rosa may have just been visiting her great-aunt for a few weeks and got recorded there.
