After Mary's death in 1728 he married Margaret Goss on 19 June 1732 in Iddesleigh[3].
He died in Iddesleigh and was buried in Monkokehampton on 6 April 1744[4].
Research Notes
Many family trees have the Richard who marries Mary Blinsham being the one baptised in Iddesleigh in 1705, (Richard Brock). The evidence that that Richard was buried in 1711 appears to be conclusive.
Why this identification is correct: Richard kept close ties with his birth village of Monkokehampton (the parish immediately to the south of Iddesleigh) - he buried his wife Mary and young son Thomas there and was buried there himself.
The second marriage is not completely certain. No other candidates for Margaret's husband have been found and it seems very plausible that Richard would want help raising his two surviving sons. The marriage appears to have been childless.
