Biography
Francis Brock was born July 8, 1794 in Grafton, New York, to Francis Brock and Katherine (Mills) Brock. He was the eighth of their 12 children.
He married Polly Ann Steward/Stewart in 1821. They had 3 children; Lois (1822-1892), Polly Ann (1829-1901), and Steward Clemence (1834-1907). His wife passed away in 1843 in Elk Creek, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
Francis married second to Laura (Unknown). They had 2 children; Charlotte E (1849-1925), Electra (1852-unknown).
His occupation had been a farmer and he established the Brock Family Farm. After his death, in March of 1856, he was buried on the property. The area was known as Elk Creek Township, to the south east of Albion in northwestern Pennsylvania.
