Biography

Married in 1817 to Polly L (possibly Lewis) (1799-1853). David moved the family to northwestern Pennsylvania, near Erie.

Children: Amanda M (1818-1849) married John W Lewis, had son Frederick John Lewis born 1845. Amanda is buried in Hope Cemetery, Cranesville, Pennsylvania.

John L (1823-1891) married first to Chloe Ann Boise (1826-1848). She died in 1848 following the birth of their daughter Harriet Annette (Brock) Blanchard. In the 1850 Federal Census, John has a wife named Harriet, 20 years old, his first daughter listed as H.A. Brock 2, and a newborn daughter, Maryetta. In 1858 he married Mary A Keep, had Florence A “Lily”, David M, and John W. John is buried in Radle Cemetery, Guys Mills, Crawford County, Pennsylvania
