Biography

In the 1850 census, there is an Abram Pool, b abt 1795 Kentucky with supposed wife Matilda, b abt 1794 Kentucky and apparent children, all but the last (b MO) born in Tennessee: John, James, Melvin, Elizabeth, Doctor, Pleasant, Ann.^[1]

In the 1860 census, there is an Abraham Pool, b abt 1796 Kentucky, enumerated in Wilson Twp, Audrain Co., Missouri, with apparent wife Malinda (b 1799 Tennessee) and apparent children Elizabeth (b abt 1836 TN), G.H. Pool (b abt 1837 TN), P.M. Pool (b abt 1840 TN), M.A. Pool (b abt 1844 MO).^[2] Enumerated immediately following them is the family of J.D. Pool (b abt 1830 KY).
