William, the father of Moses Sr. remarried on 1 Sept 1842 to Katherine Delilah Jordan and they had a son – Richard Johnson Brock, b. 2 July 1843. For some reason both William & Katherine Delilah died a short time after the birth of Richard; William in Jan 1844 and Katherine Delilah in Jan 1846. Moses Brock, Sr. was given custody of Richard [2]and he is enumerated with the Moses Brock household in 1850 Hinds County, Mississippi.[3][1]
