Biography

Abigail (Brockett) Bronson was a Connecticuter.

Abigail (spelled Abegal on the birth record), daughter of Samuel Brockett and Rachel Brown was born on 11 February 1711 in Wallingford, Connecticut.[1]Abigail married 1) Caleb Munson II on April 23, 1735[2] and had six children:

  1. Mabel Munson (b. 2 Jun 1735),
  2. Abner Munson (b. 2 Mar 1736) m. Azuba Bronson,
  3. Herman Munson (b. 28 Oct 1738) m. Anne Bronson,
  4. Cornelius Munson (b. 6 Apr 1742),
  5. Benjamin Munson (b. 23 Aug 1744), and
  6. Caleb Munson (b. 13 Mar 1747).

Abigail m. 2) Isaac Bronson on 22 November 1750. Isaac's first wife was Eunice (Richards) Bronson. Isaac's sister, Anna, married Isaac Tuttle. Isaac and Abigail had two children:

  1. Titus Bronson (b. 5 Oct 1751) and
  2. Abigail Bronson (b. 1753).

Abigail (Brockett) Munson-Bronson died on 17 November 1800 and is buried in Middlebury Cemetery in Middlebury, New Haven, CT.[3]
