Louise Broesche was born on October 19, 1876 in Texas, United States, daughter of Wilhelm Conrad Broesche (1840–1928) and Anna Barbara Hoffmann (1841–1923).

Louise married Theodore C. Ehlert (born about July 1, 1876). Their son was Curtis Ehlert (>1876–>1876).
