Obituary

Sarasota Herald-Tribune (FL) - Thursday, December 9, 1999:^[6] “Winifred Haley Kohl, 84, Sarasota, died Dec. 7, 1999. She was born Nov. 7, 1915, in Chicago and came to Sarasota 51 years ago from there. She was a retired co-owner of J.W. Haley Dainty Bake Shop. She was a member of the Church of the Redeemer Episcopal and served as past manager of its thrift shop. She was active in Girl Scouts and Brownies. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Lindsay Haley of Williamsburg, Va.; a son, Joseph W. Lindsay III of Tallahassee; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel. A service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Church of the Redeemer Episcopal, with burial to follow at Sarasota Memorial Park.”
