Hi Jillaine, I don’t think I can upload an image in the comments so I have emailed it to you, perhaps you can share. I have done a lot of research on the Brownson family in Earls Colne and that’s normally the way it is spelled (Also Browneson, Brownesonne), I have not spotted a Bronson, I guess that was a post migration change.
I've reviewed the image of the original record and it is definitely Brownson. Thanks for finding this, Michael. Michael also confirms that other records from the time period also use that spelling, so would one of the profile managers please change the LNAB to Brownson? Thanks!
I have so far found this much on Dorcas Bronson Hopkins
1. Most online sources list Connecticut as birth place, usually about 1637
2. Most list John Bronson as father
3. I have only seen Frances Hills as mother. Doesn't mean that the others are not listed in other sources.
4. My source is George Falk Ancestry and Connections @ RootsWeb's World Connection. A connection from there to Ancestry.com lists: U.S., New England Marriages Prior to 1700, American Genealogical-Biographical Index (AGBI), U.S. and International Marriage Records, 1560-1900, U.S., Sons of the American Revolution Membership Applications, 1889-1970 Military, and a few others. Does not mean they are even vaguely reliable.

Her last name at birth is Brownson.
We also consider how else the family spelled its name during the same time period.
