Edith Brooks was born in 1868 in Claybrooke Magna, Leicestershire, England. ^[1][2][3]

Edith Brooks (28, spinster) of 60 Grove Road, the daughter of Charles Brooks (tailor) was married to Arthur Terence Allen (36, widower, a clicker in the shoe trade) of 89 Nedham Street, the son of William Allen (shoe trade) on 3 Oct 1896 at St. Saviours, Leicester. ^[4]

In 1901, Edith (32) and Alfred Allen (40) their daughter, Frances M (3) and their son, William C (2) were living in Leopold Street, South Wigston, Leicestershire. ^[5]

Edith Allen died age 34 in 1903 in Blaby District, Leicestershire, England. ^[6]
