Obituary: WILLIAM H. BROOKS

Robbinsdale - William H. Brooks Sr., 86, Robbinsdale, formerly of Brainerd died Thursday, May 13, 1993, at the Crystal Lake Health Care Center in Robbinsdale.

He was born April 23, 1907, to Howard and Elvira Brooks. He graduated from Washington High School in Brainerd. He was a retired employee of 3-M in Minneapolis.

Survivors include two sons, Clifford, Utah, and William Jr., Waseca; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond, Crosby, and Floyd, Pontiac, Michigan; and two sisters, Ella Swanson, Pontiac, Mich., and Charlotte Fremling DuVal, Brainerd.

His wife, Genevieve (Dixon), died earlier.

Services were conducted at the Elim Lutheran Church in Robbinsdale. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd.

Friends may call Sunday 4-8 pm, Washburn-McReavy DuSchane Chapel, 4239 W. Broadway, Robbinsdale. Masonic service Sunday 7:30 pm. Family requests memorials to Masonic Memorial Hospital, U of M.
